On Wednesday, September 20, Rhode State Police arrested Ariel Cruz, 29, of Providence, Rhode Island.
Cruz has been charged with Possession of a Firearm While Committing a Controlled Substance Violation; Possession of a Firearm While Committing a Controlled Substance Violation; Possession of a Firearm While Committing a Controlled Substance Violation; Possession With the Intent to Deliver 1 oz – 1 kilo of a Schedule II Controlled Substance – Fentanyl; Possession With the Intent to Deliver 1 oz – 1 kilo of a Schedule II Controlled Substance – Methamphetamine; Possession With the Intent to Deliver a Schedule II Controlled Substance – Fentanyl; Possession With the Intent to Deliver a Schedule II Controlled Substance – Methamphetamine; Possession With the Intent to Deliver a Schedule II Controlled Substance – Cocaine; Large-Capacity Feeding Devices Prohibited; and Large-Capacity Feeding Devices Prohibited.
Cruz was processed at the Lincoln Barracks, special arraigned by a Justice of the Peace and turned over to officials at the ACI Intake Center pending an arraignment in Sixth Division District Court.
