Boston Police have released the identity of a person shot last week in Jamaica Plain.
On July 18, 2023, officers responded to the area of 159 Forest Hills Street for a report a shots fired and for a motor vehicle accident.
Upon arrival officers located Dante Webb, 45, of Jamaica Plain suffering from gunshot wounds.
Webb was transported by Boston EMS to an area hospital and was later pronounced deceased.
The Boston Police say that they are “Actively reviewing the facts and circumstances surrounding this incident.”
