Friday morning the Connecticut Sun confirmed, forward Liz Dixon has been waived.
Dixon, who was signed by the Sun on June 3 recorded her first professional points in the Sun’s 89-68 win over the Lynx on June 22. Dixon played 22 minutes for Connecticut accumulating four points, two rebounds, one assist, one steal and one block over four games.
The Connecticut Sun are back in action on Tuesday, July 18 at 10:00 PM ET/7:00 PM PT when they take on the Phoenix Mercury.
