The Connecticut Sun lost their third game of the season and their second one at home.
Despite the loss the Sun remain with the second best record in the league and lead the Eastern Conference.
Connecticut were in a hard fought game as it would come down to the wire in regulation. After four quarters the score was tied at 80 points a piece.
Atlanta had a great start in overtime going on a 7-2 run which gave them the edge to secure the 4 point win in overtime.
Allisha Gray led the Dream in scoring with 27 points along with adding 10 rebounds to give Gray a Double-Double.
Rhyne Howard and Cheyenne Parker were the second and third highest scorers. They both scored 19 points each Howard would add 8 assists to her performance.
Brionna Jones led the Suns with 28 points. Jones added 13 rebounds to her performance as well.
Alyssa Thomas was the second highest scorer with 23 points to go along with 6 rebounds and 7 assists. Thomas also surpassed 3,000 career points on the night.
DeWanna Bonner was the third Sun scorer with 20 plus points with 20 to be exact in the loss.
The Suns will look to get back in the win column on Sunday when they take on the Los Angeles Sparks.
