After becoming the fourth team to force a Game 7 down 3-0 Boston would like the other previous three teams to fall short of completing the comeback.
Teams who go down 0-3 are now 0-151 all time as the Miami Heat would win 103-84.
Jayson Tatum would turn his ankle 26 seconds into the game and it would be a problem as Tatum would be seen grimacing and limping throughout the game.
Tatum would score 14 points which is below his average in Game 7’s 51 point performance last round versus the Philadelphia 76ers.
Jaylen Brown would score 19 points which lead Boston in points.
Derrick White who hit the game winner to force Game 7 would score 18 points.
For Miami Jimmy Butler would score 28 points, grab 7 rebounds, dish out 6 assists, and have 3 steals as he would lead the Heat to a win.
Maimi would see Jimmy Butler be awarded the Eastern Conference Final MVP trophy for his performances throughout the game.
The undrafted stars of Miami would combine for 54 points. Caleb Martin would lead the four stars and be the second highest Heat scorer with 26 points m.
Bam Adebayo the Heat big man would score 12 points and grab 10 rebounds.
Butler last postseason as he would lose to Boston in Game 7 said he “would be back and get the job done.”
Indeed the Heat did as they booked their ticket to the NBA finals.
The first game will take place on Thursday with Miami traveling to Denver for Game 1.
