Celtics Drop Both Games At Home Go Down 0-2

By DJ Harding

The Boston Celtics in their last three series where they lost game 1 have won the series in 7 games and won game 2.

Tonight would not follow that formula as Boston would suffer a 111-105 defeat to the Miami Heat.

Jimmy Butler would score 27 points, grab eight rebounds and dish out six assists in the win.

Butler also had an altercation with Celtics forward Grant Williams which might’ve been Williams poking the beat as the Heat went on a 24-9 after the altercation.

Williams didn’t play in Game 1 but in Game 2 would score nine points.

Jayson Tatum would lead the Celtics in scoring with 34 points but once again wouldn’t score in the fourth quarter.

Tatum over the two games thus far has scored zero points while having five turnovers.

Jaylen Brown, the other half of the Boston star duo, would struggle in Game 2 scoring 16 points.

For Miami Bam Adebayo and Caleb Martin would each score over 20 points.

Adebayo grabbed 17 rebounds to give him a double double in the win.

Current Sixth Man of the Year Malcolm Brogdon would score 13 points and struggle from three going 1 for 5.

Brogdon shot 50% from three in the previous series versus the 76ers but hasn’t been able to recapture that magic.

Boston will hope to turn things around on Sunday as they travel to Miami for Game 3 which is set to tip off at 8:30 PM EST.
