Boston Police, Wednesday night around 9:31 PM, arrested Lyriq Rivera, 20, of Brockton for Unlawful Possession of a Firearm, Unlawful Possession of Ammunition and Trafficking; Class B, Drugs (20 grams).

In a statement Boston Police said “Officers were on patrol in the area of Dudley Street and Warren Street on a firearm investigation when they arrested Lyriq Rivera after he was found to be in possession of a loaded firearm and drugs. Officers recovered fifteen individually packaged plastic bags containing a white rock- like substance believed to be crack- cocaine, totaling approximately 20 grams.”

The firearm recovered, Boston Police confirmed was a Sig Sauer P320 9mm, with one round in the chamber and fifteen rounds in the high-capacity magazine. 

Rivera is expected to be arraigned in Roxbury District Court Thursday morning.
