The Boston Celtics hosted the Atlanta Hawks in Game 2 of the first round of the 2023 NBA Playoffs at TD Garden in Boston, MA on Tuesday night. The Celtics led the series 1-0 after a 112-99 win in Game 1 on Saturday.
It was another dominant effort from the Celtics in this game, leading by as much as 20 in a 119-106 victory to take a 2-0 series lead. Jayson Tatum led the way for Boston with 29 points and 10 rebounds.
Derrick White added 26 and Jaylen Brown scored 18 points in the victory.
After the Hawks closed their deficit to nine in the fourth quarter, Boston went on a 15-2 run to close the game out.
Game 3 will be played Friday in Atlanta. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m. ET.
