It was all Fisher Cats in the second game against Altoona, scoring the first five runs in the first four innings. Zach Britton scored on Damiano Palmegiani single in the top of the third, then drove in Kekai Rios on a single in the top of the fourth.

Britton would allow Rios to score again in the top of the eighth on an RBI groundout, making it a 6-0 game at that point.

Altoona scored two runs, one in the eighth and one in the ninth, but New Hampshire held on for a 7-2 win.

Portland Sea Dogs 2, Binghamton Rumble Ponies 0

Portland’s two runs, the two lone runs of the game, came in the fifth and sixth innings. Ceddanne Rafaela hit into an RBI groundout, allowing Elih Marerro to score the first run. The second came when Corey Rosier hit a single to center field, allowing Christian Koss to score.

Shane Drohan took over from there, allowing just three hits in five innings, striking out five. Brendan Nail also struck out four in just 1.1 innings pitched.

Bowie Baysox 5, Hartford Yard Goats 3

Bowie scored the game’s first two runs in the top of the first inning as Billy Cook scored on an RBI groundout from Coby Mayo and Heston Kjerstad scored on a Cesar Prieto single.

Prieto then hit a double in the top of the fourth, allowing Cook and Kjerstad to score and make the score 4-0. Hartford made it a 4-2 game in the bottom half of the inning, but it remained a two-run all the way as Bowie came away with a 5-3 victory.
