North High School [Worcester, MA] Boy’s Basketball to Host Rolling Rally Sunday

The North High School Polar Bears boy’s basketball team out of Worcester, MA will host what is known as a ‘rolling rally’ on Sunday that will cover several parts of town and wind up at Polar Park. The team won the Division 1 State Championship by defeating Wareham 73-64 at the Tsongas Arena in Lowell, MA on March 19.

The rolling rally will see the team, along with city officials and other student-athletes, being escorted by police as they ride through different streets around town on a Beantown Betty duck boat. The rally begins at 1 p.m. ET and will conclude with a ceremony at Polar Park at 3 p.m. ET.

Depart: North High School, 140 Harrington Way

Harrington Way to Plantation Street

Plantation Street to Belmont Street (Rt. 9)

Belmont Street to Goldsberry Street (behind Worcester Police Dept.)

Goldsberry Street (behind WPD) and Plumley Village (tribute to fallen police officers and NHS alumni; home to many current NHS students)

Summer Street to Washington Square (Union Station)

Washington Square to Grafton Street to Temple Street

Temple Street to Green Street

Green Street to Polar Park

Main Event: Polar Park, 100 Madison St.
