On Tuesday, March 7, 2023, Boston Police responded to the area of 189 Blue Hill Avenue for a report of a person stabbed.
Upon arrival officers did locate a victim with a laceration to the neck. As officers were rendering medical aid to the victim, additional officers responded and a second victim, also with a laceration to the neck was located.
One of the victims was transported to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries while the other victim was treated and released at the scene.
Detailed information about the suspect and the direction the suspect fled was sent out over BPD radio and eventually the suspect who has been identified as Ruben Lieske, 21, of Dorchester was located, and after a foot pursuit was taken into custody.
Lieske was charged with; two counts of Assault and Battery by Means of a Dangerous Weapon to wit knife and resisting arrest.
