Boston Wins Third Straight Against Miami

The Boston Red Sox would continue its Spring Training versus the Miami Marlins. Boston is coming off two straight wins against the Tampa Bay Rays and the Minnesota Twins.

Corey Kluber would be the starting pitcher for the Boston Red Soxs and would log two innings allowing two hits and striking out one batter.

Inning number three would end the 0-0 score when at the top of the third Triston Casas singled to change the lead 1-0. A Connor Wong groundout would score another runner turning the lead into 2-0.

Triston Casas would drive in more runs once again after hitting a two run home run. Greg Allen would score again.

After the fifth inning home run by Casas the next inning officially the top of the sixth would see Ryan Fitzgerald hit a double that scored two runs. Emmanuel Valdez and Narciso Crook were the two players to score.

The Marlins would score all their runs in the sixth with a wild pitch which scored Jake Mangum before Avisa Garcia would hit a solo home run. 

Emmanuel Valdez would homer in the eighth inning on the way to a 7-2 win versus the Marlins. 

The Red Sox have now won their third straight game and now hold a record of 3-0-1 versus Major League teams. Boston will play against the Houston Astros and hope to make it four in a row.
