As teams return to the action after the All-Star Break with about a month until the season ends. The time to secure a spot in the playoffs or make that final playoff push is now.
Maine Celtics
The Celtics returned to action on the 24th with a back to back versus the Greensboro Swarm splitting the two meetings winning the first of the two 120-106 before losing the second 122-110. The Maine Celtics currently sit 3rd in the Eastern Conference with 10 games left in the regular season for them.
Westchester Knicks
The Westchester Knicks also returned to action on the 24th and started their post all-star tenure with back to back losses. The Knicks lost to the Fort Wayne Mad Ants in a close game going down 122-119. They would then drop a 15 point loss to the Windy City Bulls 123-108 two days later. The Knicks are now currently 8-13 and three games behind 6th place as they currently sit at 12th in the Eastern Conference
Long Island Nets
The Long Island Nets went into the All-Star break with the best record at 17-3 and on a 11 game win streak. The Nets continue their hot streak after the all-star break with two 20 point wins. Wednesday the 22nd the Nets would extend the streak to 12 on the Fort Wayne Mad Ants 122-102. Then on Sunday they travel to Texas to take on the Austin Spurs 117-96 this extend their win streak to 13 games highest win streak in the G-League and now gives them a 4 game lead as they sit in first place in the Eastern Conference
Capital City Go-Go
Capital City after their first week back has left them in sixth place in the Eastern Conference despite ending the week with back to back losses to the Delaware Blue Coats. In better news the Go-Go started the week with a win versus the Grand Rapids Gold with a step back three pointer to secure the win 112-111 on a buzzer beater. The back to back losses to the Blue Coats happened with a 15 point loss 136-121 the other came in a 125-124 which was a narrow loss which the Blue Coats won in the final minute.
College Park Skyhawks
The Skyhawks sit one and half games behind sixth place while currently sitting at 11th. Splitting the two games over the weekend winning Friday 119-107 to the Birmingham Squadron and losing Sunday 116-104 to the Oklahoma City Blue which now puts them at a record 10-12.
