On Tuesday night at about 7:35 p.m., officers with the Boston Police responded to the area of 59 Wilrose Street for a ShotSpotter activation. As officers were responding, they were informed by dispatch of calls to 9-1-1 of shots fired in the area.
Upon arrival, officers located two males suffering from gunshot wounds.
One of the victims was pronounced deceased on scene, and the second victim was transported to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
At this time, the identity of the victims has not been released, and no arrests have been made.
While the scene at this time has been released, Boston Police homicide detectives continue to investigate this incident.
