The new Defiance kit which will serve as a new community uniform for the 2023 and 2024 Major League Soccer seasons was unveiled by the New England Revolution.

The Revolution’s new Defiance kit features a white jersey and red shorts, with red socks and red trim along the shoulder and sleeves. The shirt’s design is punctuated by a bold red “strikethrough” across the chest that embodies New England’s famous spirit of positive defiance.
Revolution is the ultimate act of defiance, and the club’s new kit honors that resilient spirit that sparked the American Revolution, laid the foundation for our country, and has resonated throughout the New England region for centuries thereafter. The kit design also recalls the red “strikethrough” in the Revolution’s crest, which anchors the club’s refreshed brand identity in that same spirit of positive defiance.
The Revolution will debut the Defiance Kit for the first time in official competition when they play Charlotte FC in their 2023 MLS season opener. Another first when it comes to the jersey is the Revolution’s jersey will feature the Heritage Tree, paying homage to the flag of New England that has adorned every Revolution kit in recent seasons. The Heritage Tree is also a nod to the Revolution’s status as one of the original MLS clubs competing since 1996.
