Joe Mazzulla To Be Named Head Coach of Boston Celtics

As the Boston Celtics prepare for a meeting with the Detroit Pistons Wednesday night, there is a conversation going on about the future of Celtics Interim Head Coach Joe Mazzulla.

Sources tell NewsTalk New England that the Celtics are close to naming Mazzulla head coach. 

The Bishop Hendricken High School graduate would become the 19th head coach in team history. The decision to remove the interim tag and officially make the 34-year-old the head coach is expected to be announced on Thursday.
