Dylan Borrero Called Up To Colombia Men’s National Team

On Saturday January 28th the United States men’s national team will play Colombia in an international friendly match.  

Playing in the match will be New England Revolution midfielder Dylan Borrero, who is a native of Columbia born in Palmira was called up on January 18th. 

The 21 year old joined the Revolution as the clubs first U-22 initiative signing on April 22nd of 2022. His first MLS campaign for the Revolution included 12 appearances along with 7 starts, and 3 goals. 

Prior to his time in New England Dylan tallied 50 professional appearances across all competitions. Barrero already owns seven combined international appearances with the U-17, U-18, and U-20 levels. So this call up will be his first senior team call-up. 

The Revolution have already started training earlier in January and begin a 5 game preseason skate against MLS opposition on January 29th. 

The season begins on Saturday February 25th at Charlotte FC. The Revolution will have their home opener the next Saturday on March 4th versus Houston Dynamo FC at Gillette Stadium.
