Monday Night Football, Buffalo Bills vs Cincinnati Bengals took a turn for the worse when Bills safety Damar Hamlin was injured after tackling Bengals wideout Tee Higgins with 5:51 left in the first quarter.
What seemed like a normal tackle turned out not to be as Hamlin stood up he collapsed right after on the field. Athletic Trainers, Team Doctors, & Team Executives from both teams rushed to aid Hamlin. The call was made to request EMS assistance were they performed CPR for about 15 min. Shortly after he was rushed to University of Cincinnati Medical Center which is a trauma level 1.
Both coaches, Team Officials, and the League discussed options on how to deal with the situation ultimately it came to the decision to postponed the game. No official word has been made when the game will be rescheduled but will have more for you once more information becomes available.
Hamlin, 24, is in the middle of his second season with the Bills.
