Marquise Washington –
Saturday night an NYPD officer was slashed by an individual armed with a large knife.
Around 10:00 p.m, at 8th Avenue between 51st and 52nd Street, this individual swung at the officers who was on the street, striking this officer with the blade.
The officer was taken to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The suspect was shot by another officer and their injuries are also non life-threatening.
