Two students were arrested Monday morning at Fitchburg High School after Fitchburg Police received information they had knives.
School officials contacted Fitchburg Police around 9:30 AM saying a threat was made to the school.
School administrators placed the school on lockdown as a precaution as they searched the building for a 17-year-old student who might have a knife. The student was located in the school library and was arrested. Another student with him, a 16-year-old male, was also arrested for carrying.
Fitchburg Police say both students were arrested without incident.
