Saturday, in Buffalo, New York the College of the Holy Cross claimed a 37-31 win against Buffalo. 16,933 fans were at UB Stadium where Mathew Sluka had a great night for the Crusaders.
In the second quarter with seventeen seconds remaining on the clock, Sluka connected with Ayir Asante, a 17 yard pass to get the Crusaders their first touchdown of the game.
With 7:25 on the clock in the third quarter, Jordan Fuller got the second Crusaders touchdown of the game.
With just 2:32 on the clock in the third quarter, Sluka connected with Jalen Coker, a 62 yard pass to get the Crusaders their third touchdown of the game.
Derek Ng, with 7:12 on the clock in the fourth quarter made a 28 yard field goal.
In the fourth quarter, Sluka connected with Coker a second time, a 46 yard pass to get the fourth touchdown of the game for the Crusaders.
The Crusaders opened their season last Saturday with a 38-28 win against UConn. The Crusaders are now 2-0 as they look ahead to next Saturday against Yale at the College of the Holy Cross.
