In Buffalo Saturday night the Worcester Red Sox played game four of a six-game set against the Bison. Going into tonight this series was two-two
Buffalo got this game started at the bottom of the first with Otto Lopez scoring off a wild pitch to make it a 0-1 game. Bottom of the second Jordan Groshans scored to make it a 0-2 game.
Top of the fourth, Worcester took the lead with Johan Mieses, Jose Peraza and Nick Sogard scoring to put Worcester on top 3-2.
Bottom of the eighth, the Bison reclaimed their place in this game by retaking the lead with a dinger by LJ Talley to drive in Otto Lopez and Gabriel Moreno to put the Bison on top 3-5.
Worcester will have their meeting of this series Sunday and with a chance to split the series before taking Monday off and then starting August, this Tuesday against the Durham Bulls.
