Police in Hartford, Connecticut are investigating a Friday night shooting with one person dead.
It happened just after 9:00 PM Friday night in the area of 302 Bellevue St. Police responded to a ShotSpotter alert. Officers located a vehicle that crashed on Sanford Street and inside was a male in his 20s who had been shot.
Once the male was extricated from the vehicle life saving measures were performed on scene. He was transported to an area hospital but he was later pronounced deceased.
