Carlos Martinez, right handed pitcher, is expected to report to Triple-A Worcester to make his 2022 season debut with the Red Sox organization.
Per the MLB transaction wire, Martinez, who is a two-time All-Star with nine years of major league experience has signed a minor league contract with the Red Sox.
Before the season Martinez signed a minor-league deal with the San Francisco Giants, but they released him on April 28.
