An overnight shooting on Friday in Dorchester is now being investigated as an apparent murder-suicide attempt.
Boston Police responded to a report of a shooting in the area of Lawrence Ave and MLK and upon arrival located two individuals who were both shot.
NewsTalk New England has learned that the two shot are husband and wife. Suffolk District Attorney Kevin Hayden said the incident “appears to be a murder-suicide attempt,” with the man shooting his wife before turning the gun on himself.
The husband was pronounced deceased at the scene and the wife was taken to an area hospital to be treated. She is said to be in stable condition and will be okay.
