Around 9:30 a.m. this morning police in Springfield, Massachusetts arrested Jerry Ramos, 26, of Springfield.
Ramos has been charged with Murder, Carrying a Firearm without a License, Carrying a Loaded Firearm without a License, Discharging a Firearm within 500 feet of a Building and Firearm-Armed Robbery
In January, Springfield Police responded to the area of Pinevale Street and Essex Street in Indian Orchard for a report of an unresponsive male inside a car. Upon arrival officers located a deceased adult male who was shot. During their investigation detectives determined the suspect was Ramos and applied for a warrant for his arrest.
Ramos without incident turned himself in to the police.
