This afternoon, the Worcester Police Neighborhood Response Team while in the area of Pleasant Street observed an individual who had two active warrants.
Worcester Police have identified this individual as Tameiko Milligan, of 8 West Street.
As officers approached Milligan he ran away from them into traffic. As he was running away from officers he appeared to be holding onto something in the front pocket of his hoodie. Officers eventually were able to apprehend Milligan in the area of Cottage Street.
A K9 officer responded to the area to conduct a track in a grassy area on Sever Street that abuts a parking lot on Pleasant. K9 Beebs was able locate a loaded firearm and found bags of crack cocaine and fentanyl.
Milligan, in addition to the two warrants was charged with Improperly storing a firearm, use of a firearm in a felony, trespassing, trespassing with a firearm, resisting arrest, possession of a large capacity firearm, carrying a loaded firearm without a license, possession of ammunition without an FID card, possession of class B substance with intent to distribute, trafficking more than 10 grams of fentanyl and disorderly conduct.
