At approximately 12:45 p.m. today, Officers assigned to District A1 were on patrol in the area of the Boston Common when they observed a male wanted on an active warrant out of Dorchester District Court.
This idividual has been identified as Eric Brown, 31, of Dorchester. After confirming that the warrant was active, officers approached Brown however he ran from the officers. Brown but was apprehended a short time later.
While searching Brown, officers recovered a facsimile firearm that was incapable of firing ammunition.
In addition to an active Felony warrant out of Dorchester District Court for Unarmed Robbery and one (1) additional Felony warrant out of Brookline District Court, Brown was charged with Resisting Arrest.
