Retired Massachusetts State Trooper Shot And Killed In Winthrop

Authorities have not yet identified the victims of a deadly shooting in Winthrop on Saturday but sources have confirmed, a retired Massachusetts State Trooper was allegedly shot.
As the body of that trooper was taken to the Chief Medical Examiner’s office in Boston, a group of state troopers, Boston police officers and Boston firefighters lined Albany Street to salute the van carrying his body.
A woman and another man were also shot in Saturday’s shooting. The suspect was shot and killed by police.
