Boston Police Arrest Man With A Replica Rifle And An Active Straight Warrant

Friday night, officers with the Boston Police Department, assigned to District A-1 responded to a call of a person with a gun in the area of Tremont Street and Stuart Street.

As officers arrived on scene they were informed that an Asian male was walking in the area with a machine gun on his shoulder.

With the assistance of the BRIC, officers were able to locate the suspect in the area of 228 Tremont Street and he was still holding and waving the weapon.

After placing the male in custody, officers determined that the rifle was a plastic nerf rifle spray painted black to resemble a real firearm.

The male who has been identified as Pha Sun, 50, of Boston was arrested for disturbing the peace. Additionally, the male had an active straight warrant out of Boston Municipal Court for Possession of Class B Drugs.
