Boston – Students at Children’s Happy Day School had a chance to ask Boston Police officers about their work and meet Copper, the department’s comfort dog, during a visit for Community Helpers Month.
Officers from District E-5 and the Bureau of Community Engagement talked with the children about what it’s like to be a police officer. With Halloween on the students’ minds, the officers also shared tips for staying safe while trick-or-treating.
The children brought questions of their own. There were sweet treats, too, and Copper greeted the students with a wagging tail.
