Officer Nicholas Tessier has joined the Auburn Police Department, bringing just over five years of municipal law enforcement experience. The department officially welcomed him Tuesday morning, announcing his move from the Spencer Police Department.
Tessier’s background also includes service with the Worcester State Campus Police Department before he began his municipal law enforcement career. His arrival in Auburn follows experience in both campus and municipal policing, according to the department’s announcement.
He has also served on the CEMLEC Crash Reconstruction Team for the past two years. That assignment is part of the experience he brings to his new department alongside his municipal police service.
Auburn police described Tessier as a well-rounded officer and welcomed the opportunity to work with him. “We are excited to have Officer Tessier with us and look forward to working alongside him!” the department said.
