The San Antonio Spurs defeated the New York Knicks by a score of 115-111 In Game 3 of the 2026 NBA Finals. The Knicks’ historic winning streak is now snapped and their quest for an NBA title is far from over.

Victor Wembanyama was most efficient for the Spurs with 32 points, eight rebounds, and six assists. Wembanyama made better decisions in Game 3 after a late turnover in Game 2 cost the Spurs a chance to win the game or extend it into overtime.

Stephon Castle was second in scoring with 23. De’Aaron Fox struggled shooting the ball, but hit a clutch mid range shot late to help seal the Spurs victory.

As for the Knicks, they were led by their star Jalen Brunson who scored 32 points and OG Anunoby who recorded 28 points. A rough start to the fourth quarter prevented them from a successful comeback.

Knicks coach Mike Brown expressed his frustration with the referees, stating he never thought he’d see a team get 24 free-throw attempts in the second half (Spurs) to another team’s eight (Knicks).

Game 4 is in New York on Wednesday at 8:30 p.m. on ABC.
