The New York Knicks defeated the San Antonio Spurs by a score of 105-104 in Game 2 of the 2026 NBA Finals. The Knicks have extended their win streak to 13 straight games.

Four of the five Knicks starters recorded double digit scoring. Karl-Anthony Towns led the team in scoring with 21 while also adding 13 rebounds. Brunson and Bridges had 20 each.

The Knicks have stolen two games in enemy territory and now go home to New York in an attempt to close out the series.

As for the Spurs, Victor Wembanyama had a quiet first half but ended with 29 points. De’Aaron Fox scored 20.

The Spurs were down 14 halfway through the fourth quarter and came all the way back.

The Spurs had a chance to hold for the last shot while the game was tied. However, Wembanyama and Stephon Castle had a miscommunication leading to a turnover.

The turnover led to Brunson getting fouled and making a free throw. Wembanyama then missed the game winning midrange shot.

With 13 consecutive playoff victories, the Knicks now own the second-longest postseason winning streak in NBA history.

Game 3 is Monday at 8:30 p.m. on ABC.
