On April 8, we saw the New Hampshire Fishercats score 10 runs off one hit against the Portland Sea Dogs.Today, we saw the Sea Dogs, the AA affiliate of the Boston Red Sox, complete a combined no hitter in a 3-2 victory against the Hartford Yard Goats.

Hayden Mullins started the game for Portland, pitching the first five innings. He gave up the two runs to the Yard Goats in this game, but didn’t allow any hits. Caleb Bolden pitched the sixth and seventh innings and Reidis Sena finished it off in the eighth and ninth.

Hartford scored the first two runs in the top of the third inning off a field error. Portland was able to tie the game for Portland in the bottom of the sixth with a two-run homer to right center field.

The go-ahead score came in the bottom of the bottom of the eighth as Ronald Rosario singled on a ground ball to right field, allowing Brooks Brannon to score. Sena was credited with the win. The no-hitter was the ninth in Sea Dogs history.
