The New York Knicks hosted the Washington Wizards at Madison Square Garden in New York City on Sunday. The Knicks were winners of five straight coming into this game, includin coming off a 93-92 victory over the Brooklyn Nets on Friday.

Washington came into the game having lost 15 consecutive games, having last won on Feb. 20.

The records of the two teams painted a picture on how this game turned out. The Knicks led by as much as 33 en route to the 145-113 victory. They shot a near perfect 95 percent from the free throw line and outrebounded Washington 48-28.

Seven players scored in double figures for the Knicks with Karl Anthony Towns leading the way with 26 in 26 mins.

The Knicks will look to pick up their seventh consecutive victory when they take on the New Orleans Pelicans on Tuesday. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. ET.
