Lionel Michel Galibert of Bolton, Massachusetts was arrested by the Worcester Police Department on Wednesday, March 13, 2026, following a major undercover human trafficking operation targeting the commercial sexual exploitation of minors.

Worcester Police Detectives from the Special Crimes and Cyber Crimes Units partnered with Homeland Security Investigations in the sting, which aimed to identify adults attempting to solicit minors. Galibert allegedly arranged to meet someone he believed was a 15-year-old, prompting law enforcement action.

When officers confronted Galibert at the hotel, he attempted to evade arrest, forcing a brief physical struggle that caused one officer to fall. Galibert was taken into custody without further incident. During booking, officers recovered $260 in cash from his person.

Galibert now faces multiple serious charges, including trafficking of a person under 18 for sexual servitude, enticing a child under 16, sexual conduct with a minor for pay, and resisting arrest.

Authorities stressed that the operation demonstrates the department’s commitment to protecting vulnerable minors and aggressively pursuing those who exploit them.
