A section of the roadway remains closed between Putnam Hill Road and Mendon Road, with traffic being detoured around the closure — drivers are being redirected from Central Turnpike Road onto Putnam Hill Road and then onto Mendon Street to bypass the affected area.

Motorists should expect delays and use caution as crews continue working to restore service and clear the hazard.

There are no reports of injuries at this time.
