- 12 oz (340 g) ziti or penne pasta
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- Optional: 1 cup sautéed mushrooms or cooked ground turkey
- Fresh basil or parsley, for garnish
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Cook pasta according to package directions and drain. In a large bowl, combine pasta with marinara sauce, ricotta cheese, and Italian herbs. Add optional mushrooms or turkey if desired. Transfer mixture to a greased baking dish. Top with shredded mozzarella and Parmesan. Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbly. Garnish with fresh basil or parsley before serving.
Tips
