Worcester – In recognition of National Read Across America Day, Officers John Alers and Angela Lockwhy spent part of their day visiting students at the Children’s Friend Early Learning Center, where they participated in a special Storytime event.
The Worcester Police Department officers read aloud to classrooms of young learners, engaging students with animated storytelling and encouraging questions throughout the session. The visit was designed not only to promote literacy but also to strengthen positive connections between law enforcement and the community’s youngest members.
