Rutland Town, Vt – A 45-year-old New York man is facing a DUI charge following a traffic stop.
According to Trooper Daniel St. Clair of the Vermont State Police Rutland Barracks, the stop occurred at approximately 5:37 p.m. on Feb. 28, along U.S. Route 4.
Trooper St. Clair reported that Desmond Smith, 45, of Queensbury, NY, was cited to appear before the Vermont Superior Court, Rutland Criminal Division on March 16, at 10:00 a.m. to face DUI.
Smith is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
