Boston – During a week-long winter break, BPD Officers teamed up with members of District A-7 Youth Group to give back to their community at the East Boston Soup Kitchen.
They spent the day helping serve meals and providing support to community members in need. It was more than just volunteering for the participants. It was an opportunity to experience firsthand the impact of service and the importance of contributing to one’s community.
Teamwork, Compassion, and Civic Responsibility were being demonstrated by officers and youth members as they worked side by side. The event highlighted the value of positive connections between young people and law enforcement, fostering trust and understanding while making a real difference in the lives of residents.
