LONDON — Feb. 25, 2026 — The National Football League has made an announcement regarding the 2026 NFL London games. The Jacksonville Jaguars and Washington Commanders will be two of the teams featured, with their opponents and game dates still to be determined. The two games will be played at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
The Jaguars will also return to Wembley Stadium as part of their multi-year U.K. game contract. London has held 14 regular-season games for the Jaguars since 2013, with 11 of them at Wembley and three at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Part of a record nine international games in 2026, the London matchups highlight the NFL’s global reach across four continents, seven countries, and eight stadiums.
The U.K. market has been the main piece to the NFL’s global expansion for almost two decades. Over three million fans have attended regular season games in London since 2007. The games total over £2 billion over the years. Forty-two regular season games have been played in the U.K.
“We look forward to welcoming the Commanders and Jaguars back to London as part of the 2026 NFL international games,” said NFL U.K. & Ireland General Manager Henry Hodgson. “The NFL London games bring fans together from across the UK and beyond, and play a key role in engaging our existing fans as well as creating new audiences and driving NFL fandom in this market.”
“Last season’s trip to Madrid was personally unforgettable, and a tremendous milestone for our organization,” said Washington Commanders Managing Partner Josh Harris. “London is home to some of the most passionate sports fans in the world. This trip represents another meaningful moment to engage new communities, strengthen relationships, and continue to enhance our fanbase in the UK and worldwide.”
Jacksonville Jaguars head coach Liam Cohen explains how London feels like a home away from home.
“We have a passionate and knowledgeable fan base in London, built over time and still growing, and we’re making a positive impact with fans throughout the United Kingdom as well. With two games in London in 2026, it’s going to be great fun for our fans in London as well as for everyone in Jacksonville who will be making the trip. I’m definitely looking forward to it, and I know our players are happy to return as well,” he said.
The Jaguars hold marketing rights in the U.K as a way to build brand awareness and fandom beyond the U.S., through fan engagement, events and commercial opportunities.
