Dummerston, VT – On Tuesday, Feb. 17, at approximately 9:53 PM, troopers responded to a report of a single-car crash at the intersection of East-West and Black Mountain Road in Dummerston, Windham County, Vermont.
The driver was identified as Anthony D. Horne, a 41-year-old resident of Wardsboro, VT. Troopers determined upon arrival that Mr. Horne was operating the vehicle at the time of the incident.
Following an on-scene investigation, troopers concluded that Mr. Horne was operating the vehicle while under the influence of intoxicants.
Mr. Horne was placed into custody and transported to the Westminster Barracks for processing. He was subsequently released with a citation to appear in Windham County Superior Court-Criminal Division at a later date.
It is important to note that Mr. Horne is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
