In the latest episode of Hell’s Kitchen, the first challenge had the chef go on a “road trip”, sitting in go-karts and reading different ingredients off of a license plate. After picking the ingredient, the chefs got to choose if the ingredient goes on one of their own dishes or a dish of the opposing team.

In the first part of the challenge, four chefs presented a cod dish of which both Rhode Island chef Cara Marie and Oregon chef Alexandra scored a point for the red team. Iowa chef Anthony and New Jersey chef Chris also scored a point.

Henry was the only one to put up a pork dish for the blue team while Nevada chef Ellie and North Carolina chef Cyndi put up dishes for the red team. All three dishes scored a point, and the blue team led 4-3 headed into the final dish, the battle of the lamb.

Massachusetts chef Jayden didn’t score a point for the blue team, and Aniya didn’t score a point for the red team because her sauce was too salty. California chef Lisa had her lamb dish dropped because the red team had six dishes to the blue team’s five.

Ramsay tasted Lisa’s dish, which he said would’ve won the challenge for the red team. With the score tied, Ramsay chose the best dish of all, which belonged to Henry for the blue team.

They were rewarded with a golf trip on their very own private driving range. The red team’s punishment had them cleaning golf carts and golf balls by hand.

Later on, instead of the usual dinner service, Chef Ramsay had the chefs compete in a Cook for Your Life challenge. The four chefs who scored the lowest points in challenges – Cara Marie, Jayden, Chris and Ellie – were to compete to avoid elimination.

All four chefs chose a fish dish. Ellie cooked a pan-seared salmon with fennel broth, Jayden made a pan-seared salmon with grilled prawns, Cara Marie made a halibut with a potato puree, and Chris made a sunchoke-encrusted halibut.

The first chef safe from elimination was Ellie, who bested Jayden’s salmon dish. After Cara Marie presented her dish, Ramsay announced Jayden was the second chef safe from elimination.
It came down to Cara Marie. In the end, it was who was eliminated, ending her dream of becoming the head chef at Foxwoods Casino and Resort in Mashantucket, CT.

The next episode of Hell’s Kitchen will air next Thursday, Nov. 20 on FOX. It will be available to watch next Friday, Nov. 21 on Hulu.
