NASHUA — Speed demons and aggressive drivers got slammed Monday as New Hampshire State Police and Nashua cops unleashed a full-throttle crackdown on the Everett Turnpike. Troop B troopers teamed up with city officers to make the morning commute a nightmare for lawbreakers, targeting anyone thinking they could push the limits behind the wheel.
The blitz was all about sending a message: reckless driving will not be tolerated. Officers prowled the busiest stretches of the Turnpike, eyes sharp, sirens ready, making sure every wheel spinning dangerously got noticed.
In the chaos of the morning rush, 100 cars were pulled over, each stop a reminder that the road isn’t a playground. Drivers caught slipping couldn’t just shrug it off — the State Police and Nashua PD were relentless.
The results were brutal for offenders: 40 court summonses handed out, putting violators directly in the legal hot seat. The patrols left no doubt — the Turnpike is under watch, and lawbreakers won’t escape unscathed.
