Hell’s Kitchen Episode 6 saw the chefs compete in a fried chicken dish challenge. Assisting in testing each of the chefs dishes was CEO of Church’s Texas Chicken, Ronald Gonzalez Down 16-12, California chef Lisa scored a five to give the women another challenge victory.
Their reward was a lunch at Foxwoods Casino and Resort in Mashantucket, CT, where the competition was being held. They also went on a ziplining escapade.
At dinner service, as it had been in the challenge, it came down to the very end. Massachusetts chef Jayden undercooked the blue team’s final Wellington while North Carolina chef Cyndi was able to deliver her Wellington, giving the women the win in service.
Despite both teams having strong services, and while it was the meat station that ultimately brought the blue team down, the fish station, led by Georgia chef Jon and New Hampshire chef Antonio, had the most struggles.
Both men were nominated for elimination, and in the end, it was Antonio who saw his dream of becoming the head chef at Foxwoods Casino and Resort come to an end. Chef Ramsay wasn’t done yet, however.
Feeling the blue team needed a leader, he placed Florida chef Jayda in the blue team before sending both teams back to the dorms.
Episode 7 of Hell’s Kitchen: Battle of the States will air next Thursday, Nov. 6 on FOX. The episode will stream the next day on Hulu.
