The Rams opened with a tough 40-13 non-conference loss to Husson, but instead of folding, they responded with back-to-back gritty MASCAC wins. The quick turnaround shows this team has the mental toughness to bounce back.
2. Jaheim Daniels Emerging as a Workhorse
Daniels has become the engine of the offense, rushing for 166 yards and three touchdowns over the past two weeks while also contributing in the passing game (65 receiving yards vs. Anna Maria, 32 vs. UMass Dartmouth). His versatility makes him a centerpiece of the Rams’ attack.
3. Scotty Brown Finding Rhythm
The veteran QB has shown flashes of efficiency, throwing for 226 yards and a TD against Husson and 234 yards with a score against Anna Maria. While the passing game still needs consistency, Brown’s ability to connect with multiple receivers keeps defenses honest.
4. Clutch Special Teams Can Change Everything
Special teams completely swung the Anna Maria game. Korey Barron’s blocked field goal and Amari Williams’ scoop-and-score will go down as one of the most dramatic finishes in program history. Plays like this show why Framingham can never be counted out.

After giving up nearly 500 yards in Week 1, the defense tightened up. Against Anna Maria, they allowed just 266 total yards, then held UMass Dartmouth to only 66 passing yards and forced three turnovers. Leaders like Zimari Omosefe, James Wilder, and Barron are anchoring the unit.

Beyond Daniels and Brown, several players have delivered big moments—Mathias Fowler’s 97-yard receiving day vs. Husson, Ayden Ramirez’s 81-yard outing against Anna Maria, and Devine Johnson’s two interceptions. The Rams aren’t relying on just one star; contributions are coming from everywhere.

At 2-1 overall and 2-0 in the MASCAC, Framingham State has shaken off the season-opening stumble. With momentum on their side, a balanced offense, and a defense finding its identity, the Rams look poised to once again compete at the top of the conference.
