A new homemade dessert trend has emerged, featuring Pillsbury biscuits filled with lemon pie filling and fried to golden perfection.
The fried biscuit bombs have gained attention among home cooks seeking simple and tasty desserts that can be prepared with readily available ingredients.
Ingredients:
- 1 can (8-count) Pillsbury Grands! Biscuits
- 1 cup lemon pie filling (canned or homemade)
- Vegetable oil (for frying)
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1–2 tbsp milk (for glaze)
- Optional: lemon zest for garnish
Instructions:
- Heat the oil
- In a deep skillet or pot, heat about 2 inches of vegetable oil to 350°F (175°C). Use a thermometer if possible.

- Carefully fold the dough over the filling and pinch all edges together to seal tightly. Roll into a ball shape.
Make sure the filling is fully enclosed to avoid leaks while frying.

- Remove with a slotted spoon and place on paper towels to drain.
- Glaze it up
- Mix powdered sugar and milk to make a smooth glaze.
- Once biscuit bombs are slightly cool, drizzle or dip them in glaze.
- Optional: Sprinkle with lemon zest for extra flavor.
- Serve warm
- Crispy outside, gooey lemony inside – perfect for brunch or dessert!
