MANCHESTER, N.H. – Manchester Police have arrested 50-year-old Christine Caron in connection with the attempted robbery of an elderly man that occurred late last month in the city’s downtown area.
On June 30, 2025, officers responded to a reported strong-arm robbery near 20 Market Street at approximately 9:15 a.m. According to investigators, the victim, an elderly man, was walking in the area when he was approached by a suspect who attempted to rob him. During the incident, the suspect allegedly shoved the man, causing him to fall and hit his head. He was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Following an investigation, police identified Caron, of Manchester, as the suspect. She was located and taken into custody on July 12. At the time of her arrest, officers say they found suspected heroin in her possession.
Caron has been charged with robbery, possession of a controlled drug, and falsifying physical evidence. She is scheduled to be arraigned Monday, July 14, in Manchester District Court.
